"Social Interiors developed from interjections of local sound commentaries amidst the presentations of radio programmes in 1984. These shows featured short dialogues and cart cut-ups from media and cassette networks.
Social Interiors are sonic thrillseekers using seduced and reconstituted sounds from many regional and global sources such as Urban and Environmental areas, sound effects, records and tapes of instrumental passages and texts bartered from musicians and vocalists.
These sound sources are WELDED with portastudio cassette machines and then mixed live into a continuous and abrupt shape for tape pieces and performances."
